"Mitsubishi Betty" refers to the Mitsubishi G4M, a World War II Japanese aircraft also known by its Allied code name "Betty." The Mitsubishi G4M was a twin-engine, land-based bomber used by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. It gained notoriety for its involvement in various military operations during the war, including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the sinking of several Allied ships. The Betty was known for its long range and high speed, but it also had significant vulnerabilities, such as weak defensive armament and a lack of protective armor.
